We are very proud to announce that 80,000,000 frames have been rendered on SheepIt Renderfarm!
Since everyone who is involved in SheepIt is doing it on their spare time, events like these are really heartwarming!

When I created SheepIt, 10 million rendered images was the main goal of the system. If we made that, then I would consider the website a success. Nowadays, 10 million is a really routine step, coming about every 3 months. I will never stop being astonished by that! Now the big push is for 100 million, hopefully coming in late spring!
Since the last event in July, our main goal was improving the stability of the system. We didn't add any major features to sheepit in that time, but we added a lot of small features to improve the stability of both the renderer and the main server.
Everyone who has their machine connected is the reason why we are motivated to keep working on Sheepit.
We would also like to thank Evan who agreed to share his frame.
